Basic health and safety has long been overlooked by Hollywood with rare exceptions - such as the sublime moment in the otherwise excreble Alien 3 where one soon-to-be dead person explains to another the correct way of holding scissors.
Of course if it was an Irish Health and Safety Officer he would be wearing two hard hats: to be sure, to be sure!
I've heard that Irishmen wear two condoms for the same reason. But then, it's a Catholic country so that's unlikely. Unless of course the second one cancelled out the first one somehow. A multi-layered moral dilemma there.
